Canada – Gatineau police launch accelerated training program to increase officer diversity
CBC News: Only 5% of the police force in Gatineau, Quebec, have diverse backgrounds. The local police force is seeking more officers who are Indigenous or from a visible minority for an accelerated 10-month training program. If candidates successfully complete these courses and pass a medical exam and security screening, Gatineau police promise to employ them.

Yahoo News: Moscow banned nearly 300 British MPs from entering Russia as a retaliatory action over the UK’s response to the invasion of Ukraine. Mr Johnson said: “It’s I think no disrespect to those who haven’t been sanctioned, when I say that all those 287 should regard it as a badge of honour.”
