In U.S., the holiday season is usually interpreted to be the period between Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Did you know that more than 1.5 billion people around the world celebrate Lunar New Year?

Lunar New Year has many names ex. Spring Festival and Chinese New Year. Many Asian cultures such as Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean celebrate this festival. This year, Lunar New Year is on February 1, 2022.

In Chinese culture, it is a 15 day-celebration which is also described as “the largest human migration on the planet” by CNN. In Vietnam, Tết Nguyên Đán lasts for up to a week.
